You are a cartographer…
It does not matter who you are outside of that.
Just know that you are now responsible for accurately recording and representing your surroundings.
You are to make a map of this place.
The Lonesome Cartographer is a tarot-based solo ttrpg about being a cartographer who is tasked with the research and creation of a map, representing a place that is important to you, your superiors, or your community.
You draw cards to determine Landmarks, and role dice to see where on the map they are and then again to see how your journey between those Landmarks treats you.
By the end of the game you will have a completed map, full of interesting places, landmarks, ruins, and people.
This game is a hack of Alone Among the Stars by Takuma Okada and is heavily inspired by Alone on a Map by Kaden Ramstack.

Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity in providing community copies of your game. I’m a disabled pension who can’t afford much so these free gifts really help me out in playing games and keeping my mind active.
I really appreciate your hard work and kindness
Thank you so much for checking out my game! I'm really happy that it was helpful for you. I'm disabled myself and always appreciate it when folks offer community copies for their games, so I try my best to do the same.
I hope you enjoying playing! <3
After plotting 22 unique locations on my map and writing 101 pages to accompany it, I finally finished my playthrough of the Lonesome Cartographer. Obviously, I loved it and didn't want the game to stop. Really, truly perfect and everything I love in a Solo RPG: a bevy of options to choose from, broad enough to work for any situation, but unique enough that it still feels gameified. Well worth the purchase!
Thank you so much!! I'm so happy that you enjoyed it. I'm really happy that you got so much out of my game, I'm honoured. :)
I really, really enjoyed playing this! I found the tarot system quite interesting, and loved how easily I could populate the map and create a lived place out of nothing. Thanks for making this!
Thank you so much! I'm happy you enjoyed it :3
